Give your child the opportunity to experience something different this summer - a diving course that will bring them good emotions, excitement, new knowledge and skills. Within four days, they will take their first steps in the underwater world under the supervision of qualified and experienced diving instructors specializing in working with children according to the international standards of SDI (SCUBA Diving International).

The official Junior Open Water Scuba Diver course is specially designed for the age group of children from 10 to 16 years. In it, they will not only get acquainted with the underwater world, but will also master basic diving skills in a safe and controlled manner. Diving is carried out according to the standard - at 9 to 18 m. depth, with the initial exercises being done in a controlled water environment at a shallow depth of 1-1.20 m. The standard allows the instructor to rearrange the order of the exercises depending on the individual progress of each participant.

After successful completion of the course, the International SDI certificate for the Junior Open Water Scuba Diver course is issued. The course and certificate are provided by SDI - Scuba Diving International under the auspices of the Diving Center - Deep Underwater Education.

The program is divided into theoretical and practical parts, with the starting time determined when making the reservation:

Day 1:

• Completion of the necessary documents by the parent/guardian, discussion with the parent, general introduction to the course - video presentation.
• Theory - diving physics, pressure, equalization techniques, currents, marine life, temperature loss, buoyancy, light and sound underwater, visibility.
• Assembling and disassembling diving equipment
• Checks before entering the water
• Underwater communication
• Using and cleaning a snorkel
• Recognizing and understanding the functions of the dive computer
• Finnel swimming techniques
• Partial cleaning of the mask from water
• Working with a ballast compensator, functions and use

Day 2:

• Psychology and psychology, diving medicine, breathing air under pressure
• Contents and functions of diving equipment - ballast compensator, regulators, thermal protection, fins and mask, diving tanks, diving computer and underwater compass, equipment care
• Complete cleaning of the mask from water
• Breathing from a diving regulator without a mask
• Restoring a regulator underwater
• Correct weight distribution
• Removing and restoring a ballast belt underwater

Day 3:

• Theory of diving exercises
• Rescue techniques, techniques for preventing incidents, risk management
• BCD inflation and deflation
• Correct balancing with BCD
• BCD removal and recovery, hanging

Day 4:

• Practice, test and debriefing
• Controlled immersion and ascent
• Use of an alternative regulator
• Emergency ascent simulation
• Roll-back entry from a boat
• Jumbo step entry from a boat
• SPG
• Compass
• Towing a tired diver
• Cramp release
• Graduate certification
• Refreshment in the presence of a parent

• The service lasts 4 days.
• The service is carried out from June to mid-September.
• Diving locations vary.
• Written permission from a parent on site is required.
• After successful completion of the course, the International SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver Certificate is issued.
• The course and certificate are provided by SDI - Scuba Diving International under the auspices of the Diving Center - Deep Underwater Education.
• The service is suitable for children between 10 and 16 years old.
• The price does not include diving equipment rental, transportation to the diving sites, a boat for access to the locations and video recording of the dives. You can pay for the specified services on site.
• It is necessary to contact us 2-3 days before your arrival after 17:00 for final confirmation and specification of the program.
• A reservation is required at least 7 days in advance.
• You will find a reservation phone number on the back of the certificate.
• The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• In case you are unable to use the voucher while the conditions allow, you can choose another service within the validity period.
