Two-day training on the use of firearms and CBRN from Makaroon.bg

In this two-day training, you will acquire new knowledge and skills in handling firearms and CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) threats.

The program focuses on the gap between theoretical knowledge of CBRN and its practical application, placing special emphasis on the skills of handling weapons while wearing protective equipment - a set of skills that are essential for survival in a contaminated environment. A PG-1 respirator (gas mask) is provided for each participant.

The course is divided into 7 modules, starting with a one-hour online briefing, which is scheduled one week before the start of the course.

Module 1 - Analysis of the current situation regarding CBRN in Eastern Europe.

Module 2 - Asymmetric warfare and hybrid chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats - understanding the dynamics of hybrid warfare.

Module 3 - Detection and Early Warning Systems / Identification of Potential Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Incidents / Communication and Reporting Protocols.

Module 4 - Basics of Protective Equipment and Gas Masks:

• Mask Assembly and Dual 40mm NATO Filter Cartridges
• Voice Transmitter Assembly for Communication
• Operation of the Drinking System
• Maintenance and Storage Protocols
• Response to Gas Alert
• Mask Donning and Sealing Techniques
• Ventilation Procedures to Remove Contaminated Air
• Negative Pressure Test to Verify Proper Seal
• Integration with Protective Clothing Systems

Module 5 - Basics of Gas Mask Shooting:

• Training the Natural Posture for Mask Shooting
• Proper Rifle Tilt Techniques to Avoid Mask Obstruction
• Using Gas Masks with Recessed Eyelets for Shooting
• Controlled Breathing with Mask Filter Systems
• Coping with Increased Physical Stress in maintaining accuracy
• Stability exercises adapted to the weight of protective equipment
• Controlling heat and humidity during extended shooting sessions

Module 6 - Shooting training with chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) protection equipment:

• Accuracy shooting at 25 meters with various weapon systems
• Introduction to the AK-47/74 platform using gas masks
• Shooting techniques with the M4/AR-15 platform
• Fundamentals of pistol shooting in protective equipment
• Firing and movement exercises with gas masks
• Transitioning from one weapon system to another
• Emergency reloading procedures in protective equipment
• Live fire under time constraints

Module 7 - Self-application of CBRN protection equipment and medical countermeasures:

• Autoinjector training
• Decontamination procedures
• Skin decontamination kit use
• Emergency decontamination techniques
• Equipment decontamination protocols
• On-site medical procedures
• Assessment of the condition of the injured in a contaminated environment
• Removal of protective equipment for medical care
• Ensuring airway patency when wearing protective masks
• Cooperation with civil emergency medical services

• Professional instructor
• All training materials and instructions

Additional information:

• The duration of the service is 2 days, between 11 am and 5 pm
• The service is performed on a fixed weekend with 4 to 8 people gathered.
• A week before the course dates, an online briefing is held.
• The service is suitable for persons over 18 years of age.
• The training is conducted in English, but there is a possibility of conducting it in Bulgarian with prior arrangement when making a reservation.
• Advance reservation is required.

• The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
