In the years of late socialism, there were 300,000 donkeys in Bulgaria. Now there are less than 20,000. Mechanization in agriculture and depopulation are the reasons for their decline, but in recent years there has been a revival of this specific sector. In order to give our contribution, we decided to offer a tasting of "Magara" donkey milk cheese, developed for us with the addition of goat's milk by master Mina Vardzhieva.
