Welcome to the animal kingdom!

This is not your typical zoo, but a home to various animal species, with large green areas, rich vegetation and complete tranquility. All animals roam freely, and special contact areas give you the opportunity to pet them, feed them and take pictures with them. The zoo has 6 contact areas:

Capybara Contact Area: Capybaras are the largest rodents on the planet and in our country they can only be seen in the Burgas Zoo. They can reach a length of up to 1.3 meters and a weight of 50 to 70 kg and are excellent swimmers. They are charming, friendly and social.

Mini Vietnamese Piglet Contact Area: These are decorative piglets that are often kept as pets. They are very kind and friendly. Depending on their diet, they can reach up to 20 kg.

Contact area African tortoises Sulcata: The largest tortoise on the Balkan Peninsula of the species "African sulcata" lives with us. Raffaello weighs over 60 kg and is named after a character from the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". He enjoys the company of four female tortoises of the same species.

Contact area exotic rabbits: The area combines different breeds of exotic rabbits - from mini to super giant, from 500 g to 12-kilogram purple rabbits. It is also suitable for our youngest visitors.
