Become a real ship captain with a course in navigation

The course is perfectly suitable for beginners, as it starts with the basics of sailing and imparts all the necessary knowledge so that you can manage a yacht independently at the end of it. It is a theoretical and practical course in navigation, navigation and control of a vessel, sailing vessel or motor boat.

During the course, you get to know the basics of navigation, the right-of-way of the MPSS, safety at sea, sound signals, lights and IALA systems for floating signs, the structure and equipment of a yacht, meteorology. A practical part teaches you basic marine knots and working with sails, sailing and handling a 39-foot keel yacht on the Iskar Dam. The training takes place on the Iskar Dam, and the duration is 3 weeks with a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 20 people. The practice takes place on a 39-foot keel sailing-motor yacht.

• Duration of the course - 3 weeks
• After successfully passing an exam before the MA, after the end of the course, you receive a certificate for "Master of a ship up to 40 BT at sea"
• You get the right to operate vessels up to 40 GT for sport or commercial fishing.
• You get the right to operate your boat, yacht or recreational jet.

More information:

• The course takes place monthly, year-round with a minimum of 6 people in a group. Lectures are twice a week from 19:00 to 21:00.
• The theoretical part of the course is offered in an online version. You will need to be physically present at the end of the course for the chart navigation lecture and the end-of-course internal exam.
• The course is suitable for beginners.
• The course is suitable for people above 18 years.
• Documents for registration: identity card data, address, social security number, Bulgarian and Latin names on passport, phone number and email, copy of diploma for higher education, medical certificate from Transport Hospital.
• The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• On the voucher there will be a phone number for reservation
