In the Historical Park, a lot of attention is paid to each era of Bulgaria's existence - from the Neolithic all the way to the Second Bulgarian Kingdom - and the atmosphere of the different eras is so authentically recreated that it really takes your breath away!

A Historical park was established in 2019 and is developing very quickly to welcome its guests and tell them about the glorious past of our people. It has various attractions and entertainment, as well as restaurants offering traditional Bulgarian dishes.

Historical sights from different eras are gathered in the Historical Park to recreate every note of Bulgaria's past. The guests of the park are transported to other times, where there was valor, royal majesty, rich and deep history, great deeds!

At the entrance to the Historical Park, you will be greeted by a statue of a Thracian archer, the symbol of the complex. According to legend, when people were afraid of thunder, which they believed to be the fury of the gods, brave Thracian and Slavic men shot into the sky.

At the beginning of the Historical Park, you will be greeted by an authentically recreated fortress near Vidin - "Baba Vida", where tour guides will meet you to take you through history and tell you about the glorious times, about the battles, about the lifestyle, about the livelihood of our ancestors in different eras.

A Thracian twinning ritual will be organized for you. You will see how the Thracian kings once improved their relations with feasts and wine.

For you, the Thracian ritual of fraternization will be recreated one to one, you will feel the spirit of the past, when disagreements and problems were solved wisely - with fun and wine.

When the kings of Thrace wanted to improve their relations and show each other their respect, they performed a fraternization ritual in which they merged their blood with wine and drank the magical drink to prove their good intentions and eternal friendship.

You will not just witness this majestic Thracian ritual, but you will have the opportunity to participate in it to feel the true magic of twinning and experience the magical emotion of the customs with which people have marked important moments of their life and development.

The Thracians are known for their love of wine. In Authenticity, Dionysus – the god of wine – was thought to have come from Thrace! With wine and feasts, the Thracians celebrated every fateful moment in life - from birth to death.

You will hear and see how our ancestors treated their guests, how they feasted and how they had fun, what clothes they wore, what they ate and what kind of lifestyle they had.
