Located in the heart of Sofia, Magernitsa brings the cozy atmosphere of the Bulgarian home of the past, filled with the smell of delicious dishes.

Lush and yet tranquil, the atmosphere in Magernitsa will take you away from the busy everyday life and immerse you in the old Bulgarian traditions.

Magernica was called the place in the monastery where they prepared food or monastery cuisine. So is the food here, as if it were just cooked in the old kitchen of a Bulgarian monastery ...

We have selected for you a four-course menu, traditional Bulgarian cuisine with an optional menu:

• Grandma's Eat (slice homemade cake, tomato, eggplant, pepper, garlic caviar, cheese, dry little fingers) - straight up lick your fingers!
• Plateau with home eats
• Wolf Plain Hungry Meat Plate - Juicy Neck, Tartar Meatballs, Ribs, Chicken, Butter Bottle, Pork Chops, Chicken Fillet
• Grilled vegetables and sauté potatoes
• Mom's cake
• Strained yogurt with a choice of your own

For vegetarians:

• Dobrudzha holiday cake with colorful salt
• Assorted salad for two - 14 types of homemade on-the-spot (kyopolou, milk salad, nettle mixture, rink, spicy cheese, shopska salad, ground peppers with cheese, spicy eggplant, marinated roasted peppers, beans salad, vine chutney, garlic caviar, marinated hot peppers, fresh garlic)
• Jovana cheese (five types of grilled cheese with honey, walnuts and aromatic cognac)
• Breaded nettle balls, fried beans and fried yogurt, homemade fries
• Homemade biscuit cake
• Ice cream yogurt

•     The menu is selected in advance, you can order the drinks in addition
•     You need to make a reservation at the restourant a few days in advance
