The initial sailing training is a structured practical experience for people with no previous experience who want to take their first steps in the world of sports sailing. The training lasts 4 hours and is held on Iskar Dam and combines theoretical training and real practice on the water with a professional instructor.

Participants are introduced to the basics of sailing boat management, sail handling, wind directions, basic maneuvers and safety rules. This is the first step towards independent sailing and participation in sailing events.

The service includes:

• Initial sailing training on Iskar Dam for one person for one person from BORA Club Iskar
• Theory and practice on the water
• Professional instructor throughout

Additional information:

• The duration of the service is 4 hours.
• The training includes theoretical training on the shore and practice in the water.
• The service can be performed both individually for 1 participant and combined in a small group with other participants.
• The service is performed in the period April - October.
• Working hours: Monday - Sunday - 09:00 - 18:00
• Minimum age for using the service - 12 years.
• Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Recommended clothing - comfortable light shoes with non-slip soles, sports clothes and a wind/rain jacket, hat and sunscreen, sunglasses.
• The service is subject to weather conditions.
• A reservation is required 3 days in advance.
• There will be a reservation phone number on the back of the certificate.
• The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
• In case you are unable to use the voucher while the conditions allow, you can exchange the voucher for another service within the validity period.
